Dreams do come true.
I created my Tof Miriam Shabbaton programs about a year ago, and during that time, Central Synagogue contacted me, asking if I do any Jewish drumming programs..Coincidence?
The program turned out to be beyond my expectations….
We had a SOLD OUT Concert
We received a FULL PAGE write up in the Herald Times (they were only going to do a small write up)
We had a STANDING OVATION at the concert.
We had a SOLD OUT Drum workshop.
Is this a sign saying that Im on the right path? I do believe so!
After this experience, I became on a mission to offer Tof Miriam programs at Synagogue and Jewish Events around the world.
Why is the Tof Miriam drum important to the Jewish People? It is the drum that the Prophetess Miriam played during Biblical times; It was used during the pivotal moment that the Red Sea split, and the Israelites were FREED – it was used for celebration, joy and victory – How special
And..my name at birth was MIRIAM…::)) Perhaps I am Miriam incarnated, who knows? What I do know is that I would love to see every Jewish person experience the blessings of playing and listening to the Tof Miriam drum
