Frequently Asked Questions
CAN I UPGRADE MY MEMBERSHIP LEVEL?
CAN I DOWNGRADE MY MEMBERSHIP LEVEL?
Yes, you can upgrade your membership level AND keep the plan that you paid in.
For example, if you signed up during the EARLY BIRD for the Silver Membership, and decided a month into the program, that you wanted to upgrade to the Gold Membership, we can do that for you AND we will honor the early bird price for this too.
We do not allow for folks to downgrade their membership levels.
CAN I CHANGE PROGRAMS?
If you find yourself in a program that is either too easy for you, or too hard, it is possible to switch.
For example, if you are in Frame Drum 202, and realized that its too advanced for you, it is okay to switch to the Frame Drum 101 Program)
BUT the switch must be done within the first module!!
CAN I PURCHASE JUST ONE MODULE?
To get the BEST RESULTS, this program is really meant to be a 4- month Comprehensive Training Program and nothing less!
Therefore, this program is only sold as a 4 – module package.
But remember, you get the KEEP THE VIDEOS FOR LIFETIME!
So if you dont have time to watch all the videos now, you can go back to them at your own leisure.
IS THERE A REFUND POLICY?

The first day of videos is February 12, so therefore, the refund policy ends on February 26

(Just so you know, we had no one desiring a refund the last time the program ran)
HOW LONG CAN I KEEP THE VIDEOS?
Although the program is 4 Months long, you can keep the videos for LIFETIME.
They will be available on the Frame Drum Academy Website.
If Marla decides to close the Academy, (which may be in another 40 years or so), she will email you all a ZIP file of all the videos, the email that is associated with your registration account.
IM INTERESTED, BUT I DO NOT HAVE TIME TO PRACTICE,
SHOULD I TAKE THE PROGRAM?
Remember that DRUMMING is a HEALING THERAPY.
When you drum, you almost IMMEDIATELY feel GOOD!
And, as mentioned before, ALL the videos will be available for a lifetime.
If you do not have the time to watch the videos that you wish to have, you can always go back to them at a later date.
WHAT IS THE BEST SIZE DRUM TO USE FOR THIS PROGRAM?
CAN I USE A NATIVE AMERICAN DRUM?
CAN I USE A DGEMBE OR OTHER TYPES OF DRUMS?
It is ESSENTIAL You play a Frame Drum for this program.
f you were to just have one drum for this program, it would be best if it was a 16″ Frame Drum.
The 16″ is a great size that you can play in ALL styles with.
This is the size that I created the Marla Tar
Of course, in a perfect world, you would have two size frame drums, one smaller size (ie 16″) and then one bigger size (ie 20″ and 22″) that are great for the lap and free hand style, but way too heavy for the upright style.
If you can not afford a Cooperman Frame Drum, you can always get a REMO, until your ready to make the investment.
The investment in a Cooperman drum is definitely worth it AND ALL Students of this program get a 10% discount on Cooperman drums!
Native American Drums are gorgeous, but would not be the best choice to use in this program.
You will find it challenging to play in the upright and lap styles with this drum.
I WAS TOLD I HAD NO RHYTHM, NO MUSICAL SKILLS, WILL I EVER LEARN?
YES YOU WILL LEARN!
This is just a belief you picked up from someone else in your life, and its not yours.
Listen, I went to school thinking I was going to be a Jazz Flautist, and ended up a World Percussionist, many told me, “you can’t change your instrument this late in your life”
Did I believe them, HECK NO, I followed my PASSION.
Please, follow your passions.
